If you are a Student or candidate looking for an internship, we will process your job application (and any Personal Information included within that application) on behalf of the Advertiser or company to whom you are applying.
If you are from the School or the official platform administrator, you will have access to information about the students at your institution. This includes their details, the companies they applied for, and the progression of their current internship.
If you are from the Company, you will have access to information about the students who applied for internships at your company. This includes the students’ details such as their schools, programs, and internship progress.
For the processing of such information, there will be assigned persons of contact from the internship platform who will collect and filter the necessary information from all sectors.
3. What Personal Information do we collect?
We collect different types of information about you depending on how you interact with us and use our products and services. For example:
To sign up as a Registered User on our Platforms (whether you are a student or a company advertiser), you will need to provide basic information such as your name and email address.
If you are a student, school account administrator, or company advertiser and choose to create a Profile, or if you are applying for a job, we may collect and process the information.
The main types of information (including Personal Information) we may collect include but are not limited to:
a. If you are a Registered User:

For Candidates setting up a Profile, you may elect to disclose to us the following information: residence (including Home Location, and preferred work locations), resumes, licenses, certifications, and internship style (e.g., free or paid internships), and any other Personal Information which a Candidate may provide in their resume uploaded to our Platforms or otherwise included in the Candidate’s Profile on our Platforms.

For School Account admins, we may collect school information such as the name of the learning institute, address, and other necessary information. We may then grant you access to monitor the students who are registered in the platform as well as their progress in their current internship program

For Candidates applying for a job, depending on the Advertiser, we may collect additional Personal Information from you on behalf of the Advertiser, such as any Personal Information that you may include within a resume, cover letters, or in response to role requirement questions or selection criteria.
Contact Data Email address, mobile phone number, other contact number, home address, contact address, and company details (if applicable).

Google or Facebook login (Linked Accounts).

If you are an Advertiser: company name, business address, and billing address; name, email address, and phone number of a primary contact (administrator of the Advertiser account) and name, email address, and phone number of any additional users of the Advertiser account (added by the Advertiser).

Other contact data that a User may share with us.
Background Data For Candidates setting up a Profile, you may disclose to us the following information: personal summary, work experience, educational background, language skills, other skills, professional qualifications, salary information, preferred job classifications, and locations.

For Advertisers setting up profiles, you may disclose the following information:
Company profile, openings, qualifications and preferences, pay (if any), and other programs that may benefit all users.
Third-Party Data (including Personal Information of Related Person) Name, email address, mobile phone number, other contact number, contact address, workplace, position, relationship with the Registered User (please ensure you have the consent of the relevant third party when disclosing their Personal Information to us).
Location Data Home address, contact address, and/or device location when using a Platform on your device. Your device location is only stored on your device and only if you have given your permission for the application to identify your location.
b. If you are an Unregistered User:
⁠We may collect your Usage and Device Data, Contact Data, and/or Location Data if you engage with us as an Unregistered User. For example, if you contact us via phone, email, or online.

5. How do we collect Personal Information?
We collect your Personal Information in a few different ways.
a. If you are a Registered User:
We collect your Personal Information directly from you (including but not limited to) when you register and create an account with us, use any of our products and services (including when you communicate with us) or simply visit our Platforms.
b. Indirectly
⁠We may also collect your Personal Information via third parties, for example:
When you register and sign in to your account with us via Google, or Facebook.
When you register or sign in using your Google or Facebook login details, you give Google, and Facebook (as applicable) permission to share your data with us, such as your name and email address. If you already have an account registered with the same email address, your existing account will be linked with the login details of your Linked Accounts.
We may also collect your Personal Information from government, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities where necessary and as required. This may include, but is not limited to, police, immigration, customs, and border security agencies.

where a Candidate stores a resume on our Platforms, using that resume, along with other factors, to assess how suitable the Candidate may be in comparison to other Candidates to a potential job opportunity. This assessment may be shown to Candidates when viewing a job advertisement and may also be shown to Advertisers.

If you are a Student/Candidate, you agree that we may share your Personal Information with Advertisers when you apply for a job advertisement on our Platforms.
By applying to a job advertisement, you agree that we may share the information in your Profile and your application with the relevant Advertiser and that your information may be stored in:
  • our Advertiser Centre on behalf of the Advertiser;
  • the Advertiser’s careers platform; or
  • the Advertiser’s chosen recruitment software.
For any inquiries related to job advertisements, job applications, or the status of your applications, please contact the Advertiser directly.
Depending on your Profile visibility settings, we may share your Profile with Advertisers, allowing them to view your Profile and any Personal Information within it when searching for Candidates.
To apply for certain jobs, parts of your Profile will be shared with the Advertiser. Even if you’ve adjusted your visibility settings, when required, your job application and parts of your Profile (such as General Data, Contact Data, Background Data, Third Party Data, and Location Data) will be shared with the Advertiser.
We will notify you when your Profile becomes part of your application and specify which parts of your Profile will be sent to the Advertiser.
Please note that if you choose to share your Profile, resume, or other application information with Advertisers, they may share this information with third parties (e.g., if you apply to a job posted by a recruiter who shares your details with the hiring company). We cannot control how these Advertisers or their third-party partners use or store your information outside of our Platforms.
However, Advertisers are obligated to comply with all applicable laws governing the use and disclosure of personal information. Nevertheless, the responsibility for ensuring such compliance is no longer under the responsibility or control of CBZN CORPORATIONS.
c. Third Parties
Service Providers and Partners: We may share your Personal Information with third-party service providers, contractors, and partners to assist in delivering our products and services, or to enable you to access their products or services. We may also share it for surveys, trials, and customer research.
Government Authorities: We may disclose your Personal Information to relevant government authorities, law enforcement, or regulatory bodies when legally required, such as to comply with court orders or other legal obligations.
9. How do we keep your information secure?
We take reasonable steps to ensure the security of our systems and protect your Personal Information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. Any Personal Information we store is kept on secure servers and within controlled facilities.

If you provide information directly to a third party (such as when applying for a job via an Advertiser’s career platform), their use of your information will be governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for or in control of their practices.
You also play a vital role in securing your Personal Information. Please ensure the confidentiality of your passwords and account details used on our Platforms. If you become aware of any unauthorized use or security breach related to your account, please notify us immediately.
10. How do we use Cookies, Usage, and Device Data?
We use cookies to collect information about the activity of a user on our website or app, allowing us to personalize your experience, analyze website traffic, and improve our services; this data may include details like your browsing history, device type, and location, but is usually anonymized to protect your privacy; you can often manage your cookie settings through your browser settings.
11. Retention of your Personal Information
We retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as outlined in this Privacy Policy, or until you request its deletion. After such a request, we will take reasonable steps to delete your Personal Information, following applicable Privacy Laws, if required.
